Passionate About Ending Poverty
There are 1.2 billion people in this world living in poverty, 767 million of them are considered malnourished. A vast majority of the global poor live in rural areas and are poorly educated, mostly employed in the agricultural sector, and over half are under 18 years of age. Even though poverty has decreased globally, it still remains persistent, and damaging among those within agricultural communities.
At Farm to Food Missions we are dedicated to ending extreme poverty around the globe, and that starts here in our own backyard. Appalachian poverty is often overlooked, and ignored when dealing with poverty issues. Thankfully, awareness is growing! We have partnered with trusted non-profits to help bring assistance, training, and support for those within the Appalachian community looking the build their way out of poverty. When purchasing food, or paying for classes from Farm to Food, you're providing for those most effected by extreme poverty. A portion of all purchases will go to providing scholarships for offered classes, tickets to on the farm events, and donated to local charities. If you're looking for a farm to buy fresh local food, and help lift the heavy burdens of struggling, then join us as we end extreme poverty.
